It’s also a time for family to get together.
A few years ago, I learned how to make black sesame-filled glutinous rice balls because I couldn’t find any locally sourced frozen ones. It’s actually pretty easy.
You just need 5 ingredients:
- black sesame powder
- sugar
- sweet rice flour
- butter
- warm water
Check out this recipe from Woks of Life. FYI you can use coconut oil in place of butter but it’s going to be more oozy. I prefer the butter for a better hold.
