Lantern Stories, a public art project in collaboration with the Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy for Boston’s Chinatown by artist Yu-Wen Wu, was unveiled recently in Chin Park. And I’m excited that my Black Lives Matter piece was included on one of the lanterns.
Back in June, Yi-Wen reached out to me and asked if she could include the Black Lives Matter design – of course!

Check out a snap of the final piece via the Baystate Banner tweet. Also, I need to get out there and see it for myself.

Lantern Stories celebrates Boston Chinatown’s vibrant community. Thirty lanterns were created for this public art installation to illuminate the district’s history of immigration, its culture and resiliency.
