This week my comic strip won’t be appearing in the Sampan Newspaper. There were concerns regarding the content. Editorial suggestions were made, but they would’ve changed the tone…maybe that was the point?
Anyhow, I didn’t want to change anything so here it is.
It’s about Black Lives Matter. It’s about the need to reform policing. It’s about the safety & protection of peaceful protesters and journalists. It’s about making America what it should be and can be. And, it’s most definitely about calling out people’s racism – it’s not like I made them look racist and referring to them as idiots isn’t not accurate…they did it by themselves.
