Did I really want to go apple picking? Not particularly. But it turned out to be the perfect fall excuse to get my parents and the kids together for some quality family time. Was it ridiculously overpriced? Absolutely. Do I now have 30 pounds of apples sitting in my kitchen that I’m pawning off on friends because I don’t even eat apples? Also yes.
Still, we got some great family photos, the kids had a blast, and everyone walked away happy—so in the end, totally worth it.
