Living in New England, snow is a fact of life. Case in point, the Blizzard of 2026 that dumped 17″ of snow in Boston, but more than 40″ in other parts of the state and region. I guess we “lucked out” this time.
Anyhow, for those of us with elderly parents, the season brings a very specific kind of tension. My latest comic strip for the Sampan Newspaper captures a moment some of us know all too well — the frustration of trying to keep your parent safe from injury when they refuse to stop shoveling.
This 4-panel piece is part of my ongoing bi-weekly series. You can also find the full comic in the current print edition of Sampan!
